SCOTT VAN DEN BOOGAARD,

Scott is passionate about creating vibrant and memorable urban places that are people focused, environmentally sensitive and culturally responsive. Scott has over 16 years expertise in practice, working in a range of high quality public domain, infrastructure and commercial projects. These have included a wide cross section of projects, from residential developments, commercial terraces, to streetscapes, regional and small parks and sites of heritage importance. His skills include all phases of project delivery from the conceptual design, detailed documentation through to construction administration.

Scott has had significant experience managing complex projects such as the delivery of International Towers at Barangaroo and infrastructure projects such as Waterloo Metro, gaining valuable skills in client and consultant team management, stakeholder management and community consultation.

Scott is a former senior associate at Aspect Studios where he led a team in delivering a range of high profile projects including Western Sydney Stadium, for Infrastructure NSW and Lendlease, the Hunter Street Newcastle, East End Stage 1 Streetscape Plan, for the City of Newcastle Council and the Chinatown Laneways, for the City of Sydney.

In 2018 Scott attended the Safer By Design Course held by NSW Police and is Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) accredited.
